Irene E. (Ferreira) Cabral

Irene E. (Ferreira) Cabral, 85, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. She was the wife of the late Anthony Cabral.
Born in Tiverton, RI, she was daughter of the late John and Mary (Mello) Ferreira.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Arkwright Finishing as an inspector. She enjoyed shopping, the casino, holidays and family functions.

She leaves five children, Tammy Bonalewicz (late husband Cliff), Anthony Cabral, II (Karen Pilkington), Sherry Borges (husband Eduardo), Tonya Sousa (husband Paul) and Tina Marques (husband Everett) and was the mother of the late Shelly Cabral;

She also leaves grandchildren, Crystal Bonalewicz , Eddie Borges, Shelly Borges, Melanie Borges, Paul Sousa, Nicole Sousa and Scott Sousa, Brittany Pauline (wife Alisha), Brandon Marques and was the grandmother of the late Shane Cabral;
She also leaves a great-grandson, Logan Oliveira; a sister, Hilda Souza (husband Richard)
and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Mary Bartkowiak (husband Normand) , Lillian Freitas (husband William),Elsie Botelho (husband Dimas), Lorraine Mello (husband Manuel),  and John Ferreira (wife Beatrice);

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at  the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with her funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Prospect St. Fall River.
