Irene (Gosselin) Desrosiers

Irene (Gosselin) Desrosiers, 84, of Tickle Rd., Westport, MA, formerly of Knight St., Fall River, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. She was the wife of Raymond Desrosiers. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edmond and Elise (Pelletier) Gosselin, she lived in Fall River most of her life and in Westport for the past 19 years. She worked in Fall River's textile industry for many years and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish and the former Dover Club Auxiliary. Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by a son, Dennis R. Desrosiers and his wife Donna of Westport; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Danielle, Adam and Heidi Desrosiers; a great-granddaughter Abigail Desrosiers and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church, Fall River at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
