Irene L. (Patenaude) Cabral

Irene L. (Patenaude) Cabral, 68, of Fall River, wife of the late Francisco F. "Frank" Cabral and the daughter of the late Leo J. and Lucie (Dion) Patenaude, entered into rest Sunday, April 10, 2016. She and her late husband operated the former Cabral Electric and Only Crusin Travel Agency and she was also employed by J. J. Taylor Distributing and Bank of Fall River. She was an advocate for seniors, a Fall River Board of Elections Poll Worker and was a former Lions Club Children's Christmas Party coordinator for many years. She was the mother of Timothy F. Cabral (Kerri) of Swansea and Lisa A. Cordeiro (David Mello) of Fall River; the grandmother of Kerri and Kyle Cordeiro and Karissa, Timmy, Jr. and Tyler Cabral; the sister of Lorraine Belanger (Aime "Moe"), Jeanne Levesque (Roger), Gert Leandro Bower and the late Ronald Patenaude; the sister-in-law of Joyce Patenaude of Dartmouth, Nancy Rezendes (Bill), Irene Mello of California and Madeline Petrillo of Pennsylvania and also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
