Imelda Y. Gagnon

Imelda Y. (Vezina) Gagnon, 95, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Country Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Swansea. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Gagnon. Imelda was employed as a seamstress and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, travelling to Foxwoods and taking care of her disabled grandson.
Survivors include a son, Edward Gagnon, Sr. and his fiancée Christine Anderson of Swansea, three grandchildren, Jennifer Medeiros and her companion James Hancock of Fall River, Edward Gagnon, Jr. of Swansea and Daniel Gagnon and his fiancee Michelle Jabotte, great-grandchildren, Tylor, Daymian, Marissa Medeiros, Jocelyn Medeiros, Connor and Jordyn Gagnon; as well as three great-great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Norman and Leonard Vezina, the daughter of the late Ludovic and Eva (Savoie) Vezina and the mother in law of the late Maureen (Fontaine ) Gagnon. Private arrangements are entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home.
