Imelda (Turcotte) Cote, 94, of 430 Jackson St. Fall River, died at home, Friday, August 18, 2006. She was the wife of the late Ferdinand Ernest Cote. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Delvina (Michaud) Turcotte, she lived in Fall River most of her life. A violinist, she enjoyed music, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, and tatting. A terrific mother and housekeeper, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Holy Trinity Parish. Survivors include 6 children, Ernest J. Cote and his wife Lorraine of St. Petersburg, FL, Normand J. Cote, Diane M. Cote, Alice M. Cote, Claudette Alferos and her husband Edward and Paul E. Cote, all of Fall River; 5 grandchildren, Pauline Cote-Miranda, Cynthia Comstock, Jill Caynor, Michael Cote and Stephen Cote; 6 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Shelby Miranda, Joshua and Abigail Comstock and Evan Caynor many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph St. Lawrence and Anita, Aime, Henri, Leo, Andrew O., Armand and Edward Turcotte. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Monday 6:00 to 9:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
