Humbert M. Barboza

Humbert M. Barboza, 96, of Fall River,passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Pauline J. (Desruisseaux) Alves-Barboza and the late Lauretta Barboza.

Humbert was an employee of the City of Fall River at the WasteWater Treatment Facility. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He leaves stepchildren, Robert Alves and his wife Lois of N. Dartmouth, Charlene Gammiero and her husband Gary of New Bedford, Sandra Langlois and her husband Michael of Westport and Julie Goyette and her husband Wayne of Fall River; eight step-grandchildren, Lori DeSousa, Robert Alves, Jr., Ian Janson, Jacob Janson, Brent Pizzo, Shawn Langlois, Austin Langlois and Chase Goyette; many step-great and step-great-great-grandchildren;

and stepson-in-law of Mark Janson of Swansea. He was the stepfather of the late Steven Alves and Cynthia Janson; step grandfather of the late Curtis Schofield and the son of the late Anibal and Francisca (deMederios) Barboza.
