Hubert M. Chamberlain

August 27, 1927 — August 10, 2005

Hubert "Bud" Chamberlain, 77, of Emmett St. Fall River, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital from complications of Asbestosis. He was the husband of Marie Eva (Perrault) Chamberlain. Born in Red Bay, Florida, the son of the late Walter and Lena (Infinger) Chamberlain, he lived in Fall River since 1948. A steamfitter, he was a 50 years member of Local 51, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union, East Providence. A Navy veteran of WWII and member of the American Legion, he had served on the USS Vulcan. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Besides his wife of 58 years he leaves a daughter, Susan Silvia of Fall River; 2 sons, Myron O. Chamberlain and his wife Karen and Ken W. Chamberlain and his wife Elizabeth, all of Dartmouth; a sister, Mildred Patten of North Carolina and Florida; a brother, Wendell Chamberlain of Red Bay, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Silvia and Nicholas and Kerri Chamberlain and a great-grandson, Clayton James Silvia. He was the brother of the late Delma Montgomery. His private funeral was held Friday, August 12, 2005, in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.
