Hilda (Camara) Martin, 84, of Ash St., Fall River, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at Saint Anne's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence C. Martin.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Gloria (Tarvis) Camara.
A garment industry supervisor, she was employed by Terry-Dee Manufacturing and later worked in the Citizens for Citizens Grandmother Program at the Slade school.
She enjoyed bingo trips.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa "Terry" Benoit of Fall River;
2 sisters, Mrs. John (Lorraine) Urso and Mrs. Jim (Terry) Nordberg, both of Fall River;
2 grandchildren, Jocelyn and Christopher Benoit:
4 nieces and nephews, Sandra Bernier and her husband Paul, Ken Bazinet and his wife Mary Beth, Beth Moriarty and her husband Daniel and Greg Bazinet and his wife Ruth Ann;
and 6 great-nieces and nephews, Alyson, Casey, Cassidy, Megan, Jim and Gloria.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 AM.
Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
