Hervé E. Tremblay, 93, of Fall River husband of Dorothy (Bashall) Tremblay and the late Helen M. (Paille) Tremblay and Marie Ange (St.Pierre) Garant Tremblay, entered into rest Monday, December 14, 2015. An Army veteran of WW II, he owned and operated the former Boulé's Market and was a meat cutter at the Newport Naval Base Commissary. A member of St. Anne Parish, he was a Marian Medal recipient, member of the Holy Name Society, Eucharistic Minister, President of St. Anne Neighborhood Senior Club, Senior Senate, Institutional Representative of St. Anne's Boy Scout Troop, and founder of the St. Anne's SHARE Food Program. Hervé also served as member of the Diocesan Advisory Council under the leadership of Cardinal Sean O'Malley, and was a member of the MA Grocer's Association. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Philip H. Tremblay and his wife Judy of Jay, Maine, Margaret "Margie" Dubé and her husband Roland of Swansea and Lucille Lima and her husband Brian of High Point, N. Carolina; grandchildren: Matthew Tremblay (Julie), Danielle Tremblay, Craig Dubé (Kerry) and Angela Ferreira; great-grandchildren: Kaylin Ferreira, Alicia Gallagher, Lily Tremblay, Abigail and Olivia Dubé; stepchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Scott Ferreira; son of the late George and Albina (Boulé) Tremblay and the brother of the late Reginald, Harry, Alex, Roger and Gerard Tremblay and Gertrude Morrissette Lapré. His funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea.
