Herman S. "Armand" Arruda

Herman S. "Armand" Arruda, 91, of Fall River, husband of the late Dolores M. (Dube) Arruda, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021.

A US Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, he also served in the National Guard. He was a polisher for the former Sarama Lighting and also a friend of Bill W.

He leaves two children, Doreen Arruda of Fall River and Ronald Arruda of No. Dartmouth; a stepdaughter, Donna M. Funk; three grandchildren, Tricia Gately (Jeffrey Moniz), Breanna Arruda and Meghan Arruda; three great-grandchildren, Kylie Arruda, Kaitlyn Gately and Tyler Gately; two great, great-grandchildren, Hunter and Olivia Cabral; two siblings, Theresa Felteau and Helen Dias and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John S. and Marianna (Pacheco) Arruda.

A visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM  at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home. Burial to follow, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
