Herman "Joe" Cardin

Herman "Joe" Cardin, 94, of Fall River, entered into rest Saturday, June 11, 2016. He served in the Army Air Corps as an airplane mechanic during WWII. When he returned home he worked for many years as a driver for 7UP. He leaves loving family members: sister-in-law, Annette Cardin; devoted niece, Denise Pelletier Turecek and her fiancé Mike Sorrentino; grandnieces, Aimee St. Thomas and Alison Mullins and her husband Andrew and their children Brady and Wyatt St. Thomas and Luke and Paige Mullins. He was the son of the late Napoleon and Irene (Lamoureux) Cardin and the brother of the late Rosabelle Pelletier and Eveline, Willie, Napoleon, Albert Joseph, Henri and Alfred Cardin. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the "angels" at Catholic Memorial Home that went above and beyond to make the last chapter of his life comfortable, safe and enjoyable. His funeral service will be held Saturday, June 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
