Henry "Rick" Snizek, 61, of Spencer St., Fall River, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. He was the husband of Peggy (DeChaves) Snizek. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of Lillian (Richotte) Snizek of Fall River and the late Thomas F. Snizek, Sr. He was employed by the former Schwartz Lumber, Star Gas, Corps Bros, Amaral Bus Co. and Fisher Bus Co. His Native American Indian name being Three Hawks, he was a member of the Abenaki Nation of Vermont, the Wolf Tail Drum and the Dighton Intertribal Indian Council. A benefactor of St. Stanislaus Parish, he was also a parish festival and parish bingo volunteer. Besides his wife of 33 years and mother, he is survived by a son, Rick A. Snizek and his wife Lisa of Fall River; 4 daughters, Chandra Proulx and her husband Noel, Heather Snizek, Nicole Snizek and Meagan Snizek, all of Fall River; a brother, Thomas F. Snizek, Jr. of Somerset; 8 grandchildren, Brenton, Sahara and Baron Snizek, Aidan, Ember, Terran and Mason Proulx and Tyler Costa aunts and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Barbara Burton. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Stanislaus Church at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
