Henry P. Potvin, 78, of Fall River, husband of Joanne (Simonetti) Potvin and husband of the late Doris Lillian (Aubin) Potvin, died Sunday, November 16, 2008. He was employed by American Wallpaper and Firestone Rubber Co. and for 32 years was bacon line supervisor for Colonial Provisions of Boston, retiring from Shaw's Warehouse. He was a crossing guard for 10 years at Pleasant St. and Eastern Ave. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Muriel Bartlett and her husband Darren of Fall River; a son, Ronald Potvin and his wife Susan of Newport, ME; 4 grandchildren, Adam Banville and his wife Vivian of Fall River, Melissa Banville of Swansea and Emma and Noah Potvin of Newport, ME; 2 great-grandchildren, Arianna and Gwenyth Banville; a sister, Theresa Silvia and her husband Donald of Fall River; nieces, nephews and his dog "Midnight". He was the son of the late Louis and Julia (Krawczyk) Potvin and the brother of the late Edouard "Ed" Potvin and Juliette Vanlandingham. His funeral was private. Visitation and flowers omitted.
