Henry "Hank" Nadeau

Retired Air Force Staff Sergeant Henry "Hank" Nadeau, 80, Somerset, formerly of Fall River, husband of Marie Janette (Hendren) Nadeau, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Following a distinguished 20 year military career he was a cook at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 27 years. He enjoyed cooking, bowling and fishing and cherished time spent with his family and friends. Besides his wife of 56 years he leaves 5 children, Paul H. Nadeau and his wife Anne Marie of Swansea, Claire Dumoulin and her husband David of Somerset, Mark R. Nadeau and his fiancée Diane Pereira of Taunton, SMSgt. Joseph J. Nadeau USAF and his wife Karen of Maryland and Swansea and Gerard P. Nadeau and his wife Kimberly of Somerset and his adopted son Randy Morgan of Sandwich; 17 grandchildren, Rachel Bomback, SSgt Paul Nadeau USA (wife Jenn), David Dumoulin (wife Sonia), James Dumoulin (wife Ashley), Stephen Dumoulin, Ashley Francis ( husband Thomas J.), Kayla Whipp, Mark, Sean and Cassidy Nadeau, TSgt Joseph Nadeau USAF, Brendan, Ryan Nadeau, A1C Kyle Nadeau USAF, Nicole Nadeau and Dylan and Abagael Buckborough; 8 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey and Jacob Nadeau, Mark Bomback and James, Corey, Bryce and Brielle Dumoulin; a sister, Marie Jeannette Sullivan of Wayne, MI and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henry Nadeau and Marie Ange (Yokell) Nadeau Cabral and the brother of the late Marie A. Tessier. He is also survived by 2 uncles, Napoleon "Paul" Yokell of Somerset and Romeo Yokell of Westport. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers. Donations to Alzheimer's Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown MA 02472 appreciated. The Nadeau family is grateful to the "C Ward" of St. Anne's Hospital and Steward Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care.
