Henry Hawkins

Henry Hawkins, 95, formerly of Buffinton St., Fall River passed on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was the husband of the late Alice (Thibault) Hawkins; the father of the late Sharon Cunningham; the son of the late Lawrence and Ellen (Pert) Hawkins and the brother of the late Agnes Lord, Mary Shovelton and William, Lawrence and John Hawkins.

He was employed by J.T. O'Connell, Inc. and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Over The Hill Gang and Saints Peter and Paul Parish. Survivors include three grandchildren, Joseph M. Cunningham (wife Nadine) of Hawaii, Andrew T. Cunningham (wife Kim) of Australia and Colleen E. Ammidown (husband Scott) of Bellingham; four great-grandchildren, Olivia and Mackenzie Ammidown and Kaylee and Thomas Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Cross Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
