Helene (Staszewski) Lapointe

Helene (Staszewski) Lapointe, of Halsey Ave., Somerset, widow of Napoleon Lapointe, died Monday, April 21, 2008. An educator, she taught at Case High School, Swansea and Somerset High School. She was past-president of L'Association Francophone, a member of the Allegro Glee Club and had an interest in genealogy. She leaves, 3 children, Irene Rodrigues (William Anger) of St. Martin, West Indies, Richard Lapointe (wife Denise) and Linda McPhail, all of Somerset; grandchildren, Kevin McPhail and Andrea Lavoie; great-grandchildren, Emily and Samantha; a sister, Irene Staszewski of Paris and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea at 11:00 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation, Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
