Helen C. (Dussault) Souza, 88, of Tiverton, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008. She was the widow of John R. Souza and the daughter of the late William and Ellen (McGough) Dussault. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she was employed as a payroll secretary in the garment industry. She was a volunteer school bus monitor for Laid Law Bus Co. and volunteered at the reading program of St. Peter and Paul School. Active in Holy Ghost Parish, Tiverton, she served as a lector, president of the Women's Guild, taught CCD and was a secretary for the church and convent. She leaves a son, Jeffrey P. Souza and his wife Karen, grandchildren Kara and Nicholas Souza, all of Somerset; nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Lapointe, Cecilia Mahoney, William and Rosemary Dussault. Visitation Friday morning from 8:30 to 10:15 AM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, following by a funeral mass in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton at 11:00 AM Burial, Pocasset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
