Helen Louise (Oye) Cler-Mccartney

Helen Louise (Oye) Cler-McCartney, 95 of Fall River, formerly of Pesotum, IL, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at home. She was the wife of the late Edward R. "Mac" McCartney and the late Philip A. Cler, Jr. Born in Galton, IL, a daughter of the late Henry T. and Mary (Deedrick) Oye, she had been employed as a communication radio dispatcher by the Illinois State Police at Pesotum, IL before coming to this area in 1976. She had been a member of the Campaign County Home Extension, St. Ann's Sodality and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Donna and George Cummings of Fall River; a sister, Mildred (Oye) Renken (late husband Rev. Glen Renken) of Effingham, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Harry, Edwin, Alvin and Willie Oye and the grandmother of the late Michael Cummings. Private funeral arrangements entrusted to AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME.
