Helen Aronis

Helen (Albany) Aronis, of Locust St. Fall River, died peacefully, Friday, July 28, 2006 at Saint Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the widow of George Aronis. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Spiros and Anna (Proyous) Albany, she lived in Fall River most of her life. An accomplished artist, she was a member of the Fall River Art Association. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Fall River. She is survived by 3 daughters, Valeda Enwright of Lincoln, Rhode Island, Joanne Aronis of Fall River and Christine Aronis and her husband Athanasias Pitliangas of Lincoln; a brother, James Albany of Somerset, and 2 granddaughters, Krisaki and Elpitha Pitliangas. She was the sister of the late Anastasia Aronis and Agnes Lavallee. Private arrangements are with the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.
