Harvey R. Montour, Jr.

Harvey R. Montour, Jr., 80, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Claudette (Chasse) Montour.  Harvey was a member of Electrical Local 223., working as an electrician for many years at St. Anne's Hospital, where he retired. He was a hardworking man with quick wit, a NASCAR fan, member of the Corvette Club, Knights of Columbus and The Elks. Harvey served 7 years in the Army Reserve.  Most importantly, he was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather.

Besides his wife of 60 years, he also leaves a daughter, Denise Ponte, her husband Clifford Ponte; a son, David Montour, his wife Karen Montour; grandsons Clifford Ponte, Jr. and Timothy Ponte; a brother, Paul Montour, a niece, Kylie Fannin and a nephew, Matt Montour.

He was the brother of the late Richard Montour and son of the late Harvey R. Montour, Sr. and Rita A. (Levesque) Montour.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S..Main St. Fall River.

His funeral will be held Thursday, September 12, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church, Hanover St. Fall River at 10:00 AM
