Gregory M. Galhardo, 62, of Sanford Rd., Westport, formerly of Indian Town Rd., Fall River, husband of Claudette M. (Costa) Galhardo, passed away at home, Friday, September 26, 2008.
He was employed by Remy Shell and Sterling Pile Fabrics, owned and operated G M Automotive and Magnum Security and helped his son at Pit Stop Coney Island before becoming disabled. He was a member of IOF and a big fan of NASCAR drag racing.
Besides his wife of 40 years he leaves a son, Mark Galhardo; a daughter, Dawn Bolger and her husband Timothy and grandchildren, Timothy, Jr., Katelyn and Matthew Bolger, and "Molson" all of Westport; 2 siblings; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and caretakers Dawn, Genna, Cindy, Jackie, Liz and Gisela.
A funeral service will be held Sunday evening at 6:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
Visitation, Sunday prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
Committal service and burial Thursday, October 2, at 10:30 AM in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
