Gladys M. (Little) Janelle

Gladys M. (Little) Janelle, 88, of "Borden Place West", So. Main St., Fall River, widow of Alfred Janelle, died Sunday, August 8, 2010. She was employed by Catholic Memorial Home and the Citizens for Citizens Foster Grandparent Program and attended the Countryside Adult Day Care, Assonet and Somerset. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She leaves 5 children, Barbara Freitas (late Thomas), of Westport, John Janelle (Claudette) of Little Compton, Robert Janelle of Fall River, Michael Janelle (Barbara) of Swansea and Douglas Janelle (Kathy) of Somerset; grandchildren, Derek and Michael Janelle, Mark Freitas and Christine Bernier; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Manchester of Westport; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Edith (Bottoms) Little and the sister of the late Henry Little, Eleanor Norman and Beverly Snell. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
