Gladys (Chmura) Giza

Gladys (Chmura) Giza, 89, of Fall River, wife of the late Chester Giza, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Peter and Bertha (Pencak) Chmura, she was a communicant and Holy Rosary Society member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church. She was employed by Shelburne Shirt Co. and later by J & J Corrugated Box Co. She truly loved to travel. She was the sister of the late Henrietta Darling, Mary LePage, Phyllis Broughton, Casimir Chmura, and John Chmura. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Marilyn Tripp of Westport, Roanne LePage of Tiverton and Wilfred LePage of Blue Diamond, NV. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
