Gilda (Ferreira) Cabral

September 17, 1940 — December 15, 2023

Gilda (Ferreira) Cabral, 83, of North Main St., Fall River, formerly of William St., wife of the late Manuel Cabral, Jr., passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Boston MA.

Born in Ginetes, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose Ferreira Santos, Jr. and Maria DaGloria Duarte.

Gilda was the beloved mother of Jose Cabral, John Cabral (wife Holly), Louis Cabral, Chris Cabral, Anna Cabral, Mario Cabral (wife Christina) and Vincent Cabral (wife Kimberly) and the late Maria Cabral.

She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gilda was the last one of her siblings.

Gilda's greatest joy in life was her family and the quality time they spent together.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 19, at 8:30 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. at 9:30 AM.

Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
