Gifford D. Askew, Jr.

Gifford D. Askew, Jr., 61, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, son of Helen (Janeiro) Askew of Fall River and the late Gifford D. Askew, Sr., entered into rest Saturday, November 19, 2016.

A Somerset High School graduate, he served in the Air Force and was a carpenter.

Besides his mother, he leaves two daughters, Laura Eaton and her husband Joshua and Brittany Roy, all of Fall River and was the grandfather of the late Jenelle "Nelly" Camara Eaton and Janessa Camara Eaton, Leigha Eaton and Mayleigh and Bryson Grillo; the brother of the late Allen Askew and also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
