Gertrude (Bernier) Roberts, 85, of Portsmouth, RI, widow of Henry J. Roberts, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007.
She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Eva (Boucher) Bernier;
the mother of Michael H. Roberts (wife Kathleen) of Plaistow, NH, Donna M. Hazard (husband Dennis) of Narragansett, RI, Keith A. Roberts of Portsmouth and Kevin J. Roberts (wife Lisa) of Joshua Tree, CA;
the grandmother of Lisa Ring, Christopher and Jason Myers, Hunter Duran, Adrienne Hazard and Andrew, Stephen, Cory, Kelly, Mason and Tori Roberts and the late Michael Duran;
the great-grandmother of Ian Coyne and Erin and Jonathan Myers
and the sister of Rudolph "Pete" Bernier, Maurice "Babe" Bernier and the late Roland, Arthur, Omer, Rene, Leo and Rev. Adrien Bernier, Yvette Parent, Jeannette Kern, Lucienne Holewka, Bertha Lagasse and Ida Matuk.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral, Fall River at 10:00 AM. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
