Gertrude E. Picard

Gertrude E. (Fournier) Picard, 92, of Fall River, wife of the late Wilfred A. Picard, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. An avid golfer, she was a member of Montaup Country Club.
She enjoyed painting and needlework.


She leaves three children, Christine Belanger (husband Roger A.), Ronald Picard (companion Helen Pereira) and Roland Picard (wife Nicole Tolentino);
two granddaughters, Stefanie Picard and Jennifer Wiencek; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jonathan Rezendes and Myles Wiencek; nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gilberte Nichols and the daughter of the late Adelard and Yvonne (Patry) Fournier.
Her funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave. Fall River, MA 02720. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
