Germaine (Bessette) Bouchard

Germaine (Bessette) Bouchard, 102, of Fall River, formerly of Chatterton Ave., Somerset, widow of Leo Bouchard, and mother of the late Rene Bouchard, died Monday, March 30, 2015. A member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, she was employed by the former R. A. McWhirr Co., Fall River, for many years and was a longtime Charlton Memorial Hospital Gift Shop Volunteer. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Irene (Aguiar) Bouchard-Seiter formerly of Fall River; granddaughters, Lisa Arata and her husband David of Tampa, FL and Laurie Sheehan and her husband David of Poway, CA; great-grandchildren, Erin and Matthew Hoyle and Kelley, Brenna and Tierney Sheehan; a great-great-grandson, Luke Jaeger and nieces and nephews including Vincent Bessette and his wife Mary Lou of Tiverton. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Huard) Bessette and the sister of the late Lillian Long, Lauraine Dufour, Rita Labonte and Joseph, Raymond and Roland Bessette. Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Germaine's family is grateful to the staffs of Sarah S.
