Gerard J. "Gerry" St.Pierre

Gerard J. "Gerry" St.Pierre, 86, of Roper St., Fall River, husband of Gloria (Cote) St.Pierre, died Thursday, September 20, 2007. Born in Gaspee, Canada, he lived in Fall River most of his life. An Army veteran of WWII and member of Notre Dame Parish he was employed by Arkwright Finishing Co. and enjoyed homebrewing beer. Besides his wife of 61 years, he leaves 2 sons, Edgar St.Pierre and his wife Rebecca and Rene St.Pierre and his wife Janice, all of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Romeo St.Pierre of Connecticut and Roger St.Pierre of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Aristide (Richard) St.Pierre and the brother of the late Edgar, Leo, Omer and Roland St.Pierre. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation omitted. Burial, private.
