Gerard A. Beauchesne, 57, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, formerly of Fall River, died at home, Monday, October 2, 2006 following a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He was the husband of Margaret (Roskey) Beauchesne. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph Armel Beauchesne and Angeline (Gagnier) Beauchesne Levesque, he lived in Pennsylvania for many years. A graduate of the former Msgr. Prevost High School, Fall River and Providence College, he was a statistician for Head Start. He was an avid book and art collector and puppeteer. In addition to his wife of 38 years, survivors include 3 daughters, Melissa Alberts of Ithaca, NY, Sarah Beauchesne of Bridgeport, PA and Katie Aliberti of Providence, RI; a son, Matthew Teilhard Beauchesne of Port Jefferson Station, NY; 2 sisters, Sister Lorraine Beauchesne, O.P. of Fall River and Claire Gehrman of Ukiah, CA; a brother, Robert C. Beauchesne of Brockton, MA; nieces, nephews, 3 aunts, an uncle and numerous friends and colleagues. He was the brother of the late Jeanne Lavoie Piette. A concelebrated memorial mass will be held Saturday, October 28, in St. Anne Church, So. Main St., Fall River at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Local visitation and flowers omitted.
