Gerald R. "Gerry" Leduc, 52, of Tiverton, died accidentally Sunday, August 3, 2008.
A Tiverton Firefighter with 30 years of service and a certified Emergency Medical Technician he was Treasurer of the Tiverton Firefighters Local 1703.
A certified Scuba Diver for many years, he was the former owner of a fire protection company and had been employed by Mike's Oil and Paul's House of Flowers.
Called "Pops" by his sons, Michael and Jonathan Leduc, both of Tiverton, he was the son of Shirley B. (Luxo) Grota of Tiverton and Romeo Leduc of Florida; the former husband of Diane (Chaunt) Leduc, the stepbrother of Linda Adams and the companion of Denise DeMedeiros, all of Tiverton.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St.Theresa Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 9:00 PM. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS. Donations may be made to the Gerald Leduc Memorial Fund, c/o any branch of Bank of America.
