Gerald Goff

Gerald "Jerry" Goff, 67, of Sanford Road, Westport, died at home, Wednesday, December 27, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Leclair) Goff. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Mary E. Goff-West and the stepson of the late William West, he lived in Westport for the past 30 years. He was employed by the former Winde-McCormick, Warwick, R.I. and had served in the Marine Corps. A member of the Holy Ghost Bayview Club, Tiverton and Our Lady of Grace Parish, he enjoyed saltwater fishing, trips to Foxwoods and took pride in the upkeep of his yard. Besides his wife of 44 years, survivors include a son, Timothy M. Goff of Fall River; 2 daughters, Paula Tripp and her husband Jimmy and Elizabeth Edwards and her husband Bill, all of Westport; 2 sisters, Barbara Schoonover of Fall River and Margaret Medeiros of Somerset; a brother, Michael West of Dartmouth; 4 granddaughters, Tiffany and Samantha Tripp, Natasha Lepage and Emily Hope Edwards, all of Westport and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 AM. Visitation, Friday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
