Georgiana "Georgie" Lafleur

Georgiana (Furtado) LaFleur, 96, of Tiverton, RI entered into rest on December 22, 2016, surrounded by family. She was the wife of 48 years to the late Arthur LaFleur.
Born in Fall River, MA, Georgiana was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Santos) Furtado. She worked in the garment industry until retirement and was a long-time resident of Tiverton, RI. In her younger years, Georgiana enjoyed hosting Sunday family dinners and summer cookouts, dancing, shopping, and spending time with those she loved.
Georgiana was the beloved mother of Darlene Levesque and the late Carolyn Wills-Houde; sister of Linda LaFleur and the late Mary Souza, Fanny Hakeem, Emily Clay, Ann Moniz, and Joseph and John Furtado; grandmother of Robin Gardner (husband-Curtis), James Wills III (wife-Suzanne), Jennifer Levesque, and Heather Levesque (husband-Douglas Coppi); great-grandmother of Zachary, Zoe, and Aliya Gardner; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A service and celebration of Georgiana's life will be held at a later date.
