Georgiana "Georgi" (Mello) Correia, 99, formerly of Jencks St. and Bates St., Fall River, widow of Antonio Correia and a former employee of Norbut Manufacturing, died Friday, January 23, 2009.
She was the mother of Henry F. Correia (wife Helen) of Bethel Park, PA, Robert Correia (wife Suzanne) of Warwick, RI and the late Anthony Correia (wife Claire) of Assonet; the grandmother of David, Richard, Michael, Philip, Brian, Jeffrey, Gregory, Lynn, James, Paul and Peter Correia and the late Victoria Correia; the great-grandmother of Emily, Bridget, Shelby, Evan, Ian, Liam, Abby, Kassandra, Kamrin, Kobi and Adam; the daughter of the late Sylvino and Elizabeth (Dube) Mello and the sister of the late Angelina Mrozek, Victoria Costa, Sylvino Mello and Joseph E. Mello.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 12:00 Noon in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
Visitation, Sunday morning prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105 or Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom St., Boston MA 02114.
