Georgette Desmarais

Georgette Desmarais, 85, of Somerset, daughter of the late Donat and Leontine (Thibault) Desmarais, died peacefully at home, Monday, August 11, 2008. A member of ILGWU, she was associated with Jodi-Sue Manufacturing until her retirement. Ms. Desmarais leaves 4 sisters, Julie Farias, Pauline Pickup and Rita LaRoche and her husband Carl, all of Somerset Henriette Levesque of Bradenton, FL and nieces and nephews, Cynthia Gamache, Randy, Mark, Wayne and Glenn LaRoche, Diane Roberts, Claire Rhodes, Elaine and Brian Levesque, Nancy LeBreux, Dennis and Dean Farias, and Christopher Dumont. Ms. Desmarais was a loyal Red Sox fan and game show enthusiast. In addition to Hospice and Palliative Care, her principal caregivers were Cynthia Gamache and Pauline Pickup. A funeral mass in Celebration of her Life will be held Thursday, August 14th. at 10:00 AM in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation and flowers omitted.
