Georgette (Lambert) Derose

Georgette (Lambert) DeRose, 85, of Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center, No. Main St., Fall River, formerly of Stafford Rd. and a summer resident of Lawrence Court, Tiverton, widow of Americ "Mac" DeRose, died Sunday, August 23, 2009. A graduate of L'Academie Jésus Marie, she was employed by Shelburne Shirt Co. and was a member of UNITE, Royal Travelers and the Jaycees. She leaves a sister, Lillian Benoit of Tiverton; a sister-in-law, Patricia (Barresi) Lambert; a brother-in-law, Alan Given and nieces and nephews including Raymond Lambert, Theresa Shay and Pauline Lambert Megna. She was the daughter of the late Henri and Blanche (Benoit) Lambert and the sister of the late Jeannette, Wilbert and Raymond Lambert and Theresa Given. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
