George Roland Schenck

George Roland Schenck, 94, of Fall River, died Thursday, July 18, 2013. An Army veteran of WW II and member of Local 1305, Carpenters Union, he enjoyed the Casinos, scratch tickets and puzzles. A self-taught musician, he played violin, piano, guitar and harmonica. He leaves a sister, Theresa Y. Roe (husband late Edward) of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late George and Aurore (Bachand) Schenck and brother of the late Leo Schenck (wife late Genevieve), Raymond Schenck (wife late Rita) and George Louis Schenck. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 6:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
