George R. Rachel, Jr.

George R. Rachel, Jr., 64, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023.

He was a retired textile worker. George enjoyed watching western movies, taking walks and was an animal lover. He was a very friendly, loving and caring person who was always willing to help anyone he met.

He leaves two sons, George R. Rachel, III and Kenneth N. Rachel (girlfriend Melanie Borges), both of Fall River; his former wife, Elizabeth (Guillemette) Rachel of Fairhaven; five siblings, Barbara Thomas of Idaho, Joanne Charles, Bruce Rachel, Ruth Lamothe and Margaret Guillemette, all of Fall River; many nieces and nephews.  George was the brother of the late Ronald M. Rachel, Grace Tremblay and Ann Berube and the son of the late George R. Rachel, Sr. and Mary (Souza) Rachel.
