George H. Gillett, 82, of 100 Amity St. Fall River, formerly of Carver St., died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, Fall River. He was the companion of Judith Taylor of Fall River. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Louis F. and Agnes (Miller) Gillett, he lived in Fall River all his life. He was employed as a weaver in the textile industry. He was a former member of the Dover Club and was an avid sports fan. Besides his companion, he leaves 2 sisters, Dorothy LaFleur of Fall River and Clara G. Harris of Belton, Misouri, 4 brothers, Roy Gillett, Henry Gillett, Earl Gillett and James Gillett, all of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gladys Gillett, Irene Golisbrowski, Elizabeth Foley, Annie Taylor and Wilfred Gillett. Funeral Saturday at 8:15 from AUCLAIR Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in SS Peter & Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Palaski St. at 9 a.m. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 5-8 p.m.
