George F. Ferreira

George F. Ferreira, 77, of Tiverton, formerly of Somerset, husband of Sally A. (Harrison) Ferreira, died Monday, May 24, 2010. A self-employed cemetery monument engraver, he served in the Army during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening and his family. Besides his wife of 55 years, he leaves 3 daughters, Lynn M. Branco of MN, Lori Sullivan of Portsmouth, RI and Diane Berard of Warwick, RI; 3 grandchildren, Clinton Newnum, Heather Belcastro and Kenneth "KJ" Sullivan; 2 great-granddaughters, Alexia Belcastro and Nevaeh Oliveira; and a sister, Nancy Doyle of FL. He was the son of the late Manuel and Elvira (Souza) Ferreira and the brother of the late Carolyn Montmagny and Donald Ferreira. Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service at 7:30 PM. Cremation to follow.
