George Desrosiers

George Desrosiers, Sr., 90, of Somerset, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022.

He was the husband of Jeannette (Vaillancourt) Desrosiers.

Now retired, George was employed by Ann Dale Cookies and South East Container.

His hobbies included bowling, card playing and gardening.  He was a member of the Italian Progressive Club.

Besides his wife of 67 years, he leaves four children, Deborah St. Pierre (late husband Maurice) of Somerset, George Desrosiers Jr. (wife Lauri) of Westport, Patricia Joseph (husband Andrew) of Swansea and Michelle Roseberry (husband Brian of Westport;

7 grandchildren, Vicki Kenyon (husband Edward), David Michael Polak, Christine Sinnott (husband Frank), Tryce Garrant (wife Jenny), Benjamin Roseberry, Brooke Traverso (husband Mike) and Joshua Roseberry;

8 great-grandchildren, Cole Travers, Reis Travers, Broderic Kenyon, David Robert Benjamin Polak, Frankie Sinnott, Kennedy Garrant, Andrew Traverso and Emmalynn Traverso.

He was the brother of the late Anna Gagne, Wilfred Desrosiers and Lillian Givens and the son of the late Edmond and Victoria (Gosselin) Desrosiers.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass which will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Saint Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave, Somerset.  The family will greet guests in the atrium of the church starting at 9:30 AM.
