George A. Cote

George A. Cote, 88, of Fall River, husband of Gertrude (Levesque) Cote, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

A member of Teamsters Union, Local 25, he was employed by Standard Linen for 42 years. He was a member of St. Anne Parish Committee, a former St. Anne Little League commissioner and a member of the Over-the-Hill Gang.

Besides his loving wife of 69 years, he leaves two children, Linda Hague and Paul R. Cote and his wife Anne Marie, all of Fall River; grandchildren, Sharon Cacchione and her husband Alex, Kathleen Hague, Russell Hague, Jr., Steven Cote and his wife Kristle and Scott Cote; great-grandchildren, Justin DoRego, Johnathan Clint Hague, Curtis Hague, Allyson Martinho, Kyle Cacchione and Ryan Cacchione ; siblings, Edward Cote of Fall River, Ernest "Pete" Cote of Florida and Nancy Goliff of Yarmouth, MA; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Antonio and Grace (Albert) Cote and the brother of the late Jeannette Lucas, Janice Fleming and Emile Cote.

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Interment, Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton.

Visitation, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown MA 02472.
