George Caisse

George A. Caisse, 87, of Fall River, former assistant manager of Lightolier, Fall River, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Arlene E. (Howard) Caisse.

Active in his community, George enjoyed volunteering at the Knights of Columbus Bingo, Tiverton, RI and in his earlier years volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society and as a collector at St. Anne Church. He was a member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks.

He loved family gatherings and was known to sing “New York, New York”.

His hobbies included bowling and horseshoes.

He was the father of Cynthia Gouveia, Deborah Caisse and the late Robert Caisse); father-in-law of Janice Caisse;

grandfather of Keith Gouveia (wife Lisa), Kevin Gouveia, Ronda Laflamme (husband Jason), Sean Caisse;

great-grandfather of Ricky and Alyssa Gouveia and Jaxon Laflamme;

great-great-grandchildren Shea McConnell and Lincoln Gouveia;

the brother of Donald Caisse, Theresa Cournoyer, Ronald Caisse, René Caisse and the late Armand Caisse, Arthur Caisse, Raymond Caisse, Lillian Robidoux, Gertrude Botelho, Leo Caisse and Robert Caisse; the son of the late Leo and Lillian (Garant) Caisse.
