George Bettez

George Bettez, 84, of Fall River, formerly of West Warwick, husband of the late Theresa M. (Skurka) Bettez, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. George was employed by Bettez Brothers Market, West Warwick and Kent County Hospital. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and playing pool and poker with his friends.

He leaves four children, George E. Bettez (wife Bunny) of Lee, ME, Paul J. Bettez of Coventry, RI, Lisa Tremblay (husband Roland) of Fall River and Lori McElroy (husband James) of Warwick; a sister, Sue LaFrenaye (husband Paul) of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, George Jr., Steven, Justin, Ryan, Lisabeth, Ashley, Russell, Amy, and Brittney; great-grandchildren, Samara, Alexander, James, Bentley and Paige; He was the son of the late Lorenzo and Rose (Jacques) Bettez.
Following cremation his funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Coventry. Donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, 275 Martine St., Fall River MA 02723.
