Gabriel "Gabe" Estrela

Gabriel "Gabe" Estrela, 56, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017.

A chef, he studied at Diman Regional Vocational High School and Bristol Community College and was employed by several area restaurants, most recently by Simply Simons, Swansea.

He leaves siblings, Manuel S. Estrela and his wife Lucy of Somerset and Alice Borges and her husband John of New Bedford; godchildren, Russell Estrela of Middlebury, CT and Samantha Abreu of New Bedford; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Hermano and Maria F. (Lima) Estrela and the brother of late Hermano and John Estrela.

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
