Frederick "Pete" Bizier

August 29, 1920 — May 18, 2007

Frederick "Pete" Bizier, 86, of Ridge St., Fall River, died at home Friday, May 18, 2007. He was the husband of the late Olive (Gingras) Bizier. Born in Waterville, Maine, the son of the late Joseph Bizier and Agnes (Dumont) Bizier Villandre, he lived in Fall River most of his life. An Army veteran of WW II, he was employed by Firestone Rubber Co. and at the Newport Naval Base. He was a Boston Red Sox fan and a member of the Dover Club and Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include a sister, Marie Cecile Lawton of Somerset; 2 nieces, Suzanne Mailloux Coughlin of Hull, MA and Christine Ayer of Somerset; a nephew, Jay Pikiell of Maine; and dear friends, Heather, Jacob and Noah Salva of Fall River. He was the uncle of the late Janet Mailloux Pikiell and the beloved companion of the late Doris Jalbert. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 12:00 NOON. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation, Monday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1 Bullfinch PL, Boston MA 02114.
