Fred A. Mooney, Jr. 65, of Swansea, husband of 41 years to Diane L. (Dussault) Mooney, died Sunday, March 9, 2008. He was employed by Mass. Highway Dept. for 35 years and served in the Army National Guard, 126th Signal Battalion for 24 years. Besides his wife, survivors include 3 children, Donna (husband Brian) Jean of Swansea, Thomas Mooney of Swansea and Jon (wife Susan) Mooney of Easton, MA; a sister, Carolyn Mooney of Swansea, 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah and Jacob Mooney and Abbie-Rae Jean, and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Fred A. and Irene (Krupa) Mooney, Sr. and the brother of the late John Mooney.
Funeral Service Friday at 9:15 AM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with burial in Mass. National Cemetery.
