Franklin D. Longmore

October 4, 1942 — February 22, 2010

Franklin D. Longmore, husband of Carolyn D. Cote-Longmore, of Fall River, died on February 22, 2010, after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer. He was employed by Gold Medal Bakery for 22 years as a tractor trailer driver, retiring in 2008. His hobbies included computer gaming, playing his piano, building models, working on his Corvette, cooking and yard work. He will be missed by his cats, "Snowee" and "Boots". Frank enjoyed the simple things in life, sitting on his deck watching the boats go by and eating out at his favorite restaurants. He was very proud of his possessions, but always remained humble. Besides his wife of 10 years, he leaves a son, Franklin Longmore, Jr. of Middleboro, MA; a grandson, Douglas Longmore; a brother, Raymond Longmore (wife Diamond) of CA; several stepchildren; step-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. He was the son of the late Ralph E. and Esther (DeLaurie) Longmore. Following cremation, visitation on Saturday, March 20 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
