Frank Martin

Frank Martin, III, 62, of Barrington, RI, formerly of Fall River, died Sunday, September 4, 2005. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Frank Martin, Jr. and Marion (Machado) Martin Motta Tavares, he lived in Fall River most of his life. A former automobile salesman and laborer, he was a vocalist in several area bands and was a DJ and enjoyed fishing and billiards. Survivors include 3 sons, Frank Martin and Kevin Martin, both of Fall River and Ryan Martin of Connecticut; a daughter, Jayme Martin of Connecticut; a stepson, Robert Chretien of Fall River; a brother, Richard Motta (Nancy) of Swansea; 2 sisters, Dolores Nutbrown of New Bedford and Lorraine Neves of Fall River; his companion, Fran Giles and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joan Raposa. Calling hours Saturday, September 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. Additionally, a memorial mass will be held the following Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Dominic Church, Swansea.
