Frank A. "Hank" Dapaola

Frank A. "Hank" DePaola, 99, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Elizabeth (Melia) DePaola, died Saturday, April 11, 2015. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was employed by the US Postal Service for many years and worked on the Fall River Line in his younger days. He was a member of the St. Mary Cathedral Senior Citizens Club, a Marian Medal recipient and a founding member of the Corky Row Club. He leaves four children, Mary Spencer (late husband Phillip) of No. Attleboro and her children, Andrea Moore (husband David), Erin E. Spencer and Rachael Murray (husband Daniel); Michael M. DePaola of Denver, CO; Judith A. Boardman, of No. Attleboro and her children, Jeffrey Boardman (wife Kerri and Kelly Boardman (fiancé Gilbert Bechtel); and Gail M. Morreale (husband Russell) of Marcy, NY and their children, Michael Morreale, Meghan Morreale (fiancé Joshua Visalli) and Matthew Morreale; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Liam Moore, Kiera and Colin Murray, Joel Boardman and Daniel Johnson, Jr. and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Francesco and Guistina (Pezzullo) DePaola and the brother of the late Joseph and James DePaola, Mary DePippo, Anna Thibault, Philomena Latessa and John and Raymond DePaola. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
